Hi, I am Nathalie DeSousa (aka Tachita, my nickname since birth). I grew up in beautiful Ecuador, but have called Toronto, Canada, my home for the past 25 years. I am a stay-at-home wife and mom of two teenagers and a Boston terrier – he is my baby, but don’t tell my kids I said so!-.
My mom introduced me to arts and crafts at a very early age, since then I have been hooked on anything homemade. I started scrapbooking when my kids were younger, as a way to document their lives; but it was when they got older that I dove completely into this paper craft, and love every minute! In the past years, I have been blessed to work in different design teams, and some of my work has been published in Canadian scrapbooking magazines. I find each of these experiences has been wonderful, and brought so much inspiration to my work.
I am honored and thrilled to be joining the Maya Road team! I love the designs, textures, and overall versatility of their products. I cannot wait to start this new adventure with all this beautiful products, and see how they complement my projects. It is truly an honor!
Hi, I am Katrina Hunt and live in Springfield, MO. I have a roomie and we also live with four Cardigan Welsh Corgis, two of which are certified pet therapy dogs.
I started my scrapbooking journey in 2009, when I made a mini album for a friend as my first paper crafting project. After that I was hooked and the more fun stuff to play with the better!
I have designed for several companies and feel lucky to be given the chance to do something that I love and inspire people to create. I have also taught a few classes at my local scrapbook store and had a lot of fun doing it.
I love to try to come up with new ways to use products and Maya Road products are perfect for that, of course! I am so excited to be part of such an amazing, unique and fun company.
Hey there, I'm Jill Keller from beautiful Kansas! I am a Kansas girl through and through, with a bit of a Florida girl mixed in from my three years living in Orlando. I stay home with my sweet girly and try to herd our cats as best I can. I started scrapping after a dear friend gave me a scrapbook for my college graduation; I fell in love with creating pages and preserving memories, and it is my biggest passion. I have spent the last few years doing design team work and adore being on a team. I love creating with a set of products and seeing what I can make, and how my peers can use the same products and come up with something completely different. Being on a team totally inspires me! I look forward to using the beautiful Maya Road products to add a fun and whimsical flair to my pages. Maya Road makes the best embellishments around and I am so happy to be a part of this amazing and talented team!
Hello! I am Stacy Koo, residing in south-east asia - Singapore, together with my family. This May also marks a special date as I embark on a marriage journey with my boyfriend of 8 years!
8 years back, I got dragged by a fellow colleague to a local scrapbook store, and attended my very first class. Ever since then, I got hooked and this hobby had taken up a major part of my life now.
This love for scrapbooking has pushed me to pursue this hobby and sharing with fellow scrappers. I am honoured to be teaching alongside with wonderful instructors at a local scrapbook store in Singapore, where I share my experience with scrappers. Since I am also an avid book binder, I always love to use different binding techniques in my classes as well.
Maya Road had always played an important role in my scrapbooking works, be it layouts, albums or book binding projects. The possibilities are endless! I am so excited to be part of this great team; it is truly a great honor!
Hi, I am Belly Lau. I live with my husband, two kids, and my non-stop, expanding scrapbooking supplies, all in a tiny little flat in Hong Kong. I have been crafting since I was little; beading, cross stitch and quite a few kinds of other crafts, but found that scrapbooking and paper crafting has been the most interesting and rewarding as it allows me to preserve memories as well as create home decorations.
In 2010, I made my first ever album about a trip to Taipei with my son. I loved the creative process so much and have been bitten by the scrapbooking bug ever since. I am now a member of a paper manufacturer design team and I also run an online business selling scrapbook supplies and kits.
I am so excited and honoured to be one of the Maya Road Design Team. I love Maya Road products which are always gorgeous and easily integrate with other brand products. I look forward to showing you my creations soon.
Hi, I'm Jess Mutty and I live in Framingham, MA with my math genius husband, Ryan, 5 year old son, Owen, almost 3 year old, Lily, and three orange cats. I have a background in theatrical costume design but now spend my days herding my family and playing with craft supplies!
I've been artsy since childhood and have always needed an outlet for creativity but didn't start formally papercrafting until 2006 when the internet brought me a whole new knowledge of this wonderful artistic world. I haven't stopped creating since! I have been fortunate enough to have been published in most of the major scrapbooking publications, taught classes both online and locally, and served as a designer and coordinator for some amazing manufacturers.
I am beyond thrilled to be designing with Maya Road! The huge variety of fantastic versatile products keeps me consistently inspired and allows me to explore different styles and project types.
Hi Roadies, Angella here and I live in glorious Queensland Australia, which is perfect one day and beautiful the next (we have wonderful weather). I am married and have two gorgeous children that keep my life full. When I am not creating, you will find me trackside, knee-deep in rubber and ethanol just to keep my life interesting (they have and run a real-life racetrack! – Ed.).
I have been creating in some sort or form for long as I can remember. Over the last 10 years I have done a lot more altered art, especially more so since I have joined the Maya Road team. I have been published in several Australian scrapbooking magazines. My creating has had me teaching up and down the eastside of Australia and teaching abroad in the USA, Vietnam, Cambodia, and this year in Europe.
Maya Road products are all about the freedom to create projects outside the box, products that can help you to create anything that you can imagine. All the products excite me, as you can always use all of the items in a new and different way and that keeps me thinking of what I can create next.
Hi! My name is Melody Rupple and I live in beautiful San Diego, California with my husband and our four daughters. I love to travel and take photos, and when I am not in my craft room my favorite place to be is walking on the beach.
I have been involved in something creative since my teens when I made simple scrapbooks and learned to sew. I continued to scrapbook for my girls, and once I discovered stamping, mixed media, and blogging I was hooked!
I have been fortunate to design for some fabulous companies and have been a guest designer for a number of other companies and challenge teams.
I love playing with embellishments and my stash is full of Maya Road products! I appreciate the variety and versatility of Maya Road and I am so excited and honored to be part of the Design Team.
Hi I’m Julia Stainton from Ontario Canada. I’m a busy mom of five, just celebrated 25 wonderful years married to the love of my life and we live in a century old farmhouse that we are never finished renovating.
As far as I can remember back I’ve been crafting and creating, inspired by my grandmothers, who were both very talented seamstresses. In 1999 I found the most beautiful scrapbook in a children’s clothing store and have been hooked on paper crafting ever since.
Over the years, I’ve had wonderful opportunities designing in the crafting industry from working with many design teams, having numerous designs published and working in product design. Each opportunity is a chance to grow and explore my creativity.
For me Maya Road is all about quality, flexibility and the joy of creativity. Maya Road always works perfectly on every design I create and I’m not quite sure how I’d create without it! I’m thrilled to be part of the Maya Road Design Team, as it not only challenges me and nurtures my creativity, but it feels like coming home.
My name is Yasmin Tölche, I'm a Norwegian girl born in 1980. I am mom to three awesome boys: Felix, Collin and Finnley. I'm happily married to Kristian and together we live in a small mountain village in Kyrksæterøra, Norway with our Rottweiler, Penny. I'm a stay at home mom, doing postings online for a Norwegian scrapbook store and I do a bit of photography.
I started scrapbooking in 2005, discovered the hobby at a friend’s house and been doing it ever since! I love all paper related; doing cards, layouts, mini albums and paper projects. I'm a major scrapbook hoarder! Live, love, breathe paper crafts. In the later years I've been fortunate to be a part of several design teams and been published in some of the Scandinavian scrapbook magazines.
I'm so excited to be part of the Maya Road design team. I've loved Maya Road products for as long as I've been scrapbooking, they are unique and fantastic quality and are so versatile. I am beyond happy to be able to work with one of the major companies in the industry.
Hello there! My name is Yvonne Yam and I live with my family in sunny Singapore. I love to travel and take photos, especially of food. I think it would be nice in old age to reminisce about the food I ate when I still had teeth! :)
I got into scrapbooking because of Nokia. The service centre was located opposite a scrapbooking store and there was a long wait for my turn. Once I stepped into the scrapbooking store, there was really no turning back. *winks* Over the last few years, I've been blessed to have designed for manufacturers in the craft industry and been published in print magazines too.
I enjoy Maya Road products because they can be altered when I'm in a mixed media mood. Or used as is when I need to work on a quick project. Just thinking about the wide range of quality products I get to play with makes me happy! So glad I get to share my inspired creations as a team member.
