My first project is a mixed media wood pallet using the 8x8 DIY mini wood pallet.
I started by going over the wood pallet with some white gesso for a slightly white washed look.
Then I coloured two medium vintage paper flowers with a Chameleon Pen. I varied the intensity so I got two blue coloured flowers from just one pen. I also filled a wood mini spool with white thread and coloured with the same pen.
I also coloured a resin nesting bird in Snow White with a yellow Chameleon pen.
The fun part is always when you start putting all the pretty stuff together! Here I used a Felt Blossom -Cloud, Ken Oliver Vintage Love Note and Typewriter Charm, Ken Oliver Vintage Trims - Scallop Dot, Pearl Button Trim, Pearl Mum Trim, Snip and Clip Scissor charm, Tulle mini bloom in bluebird, Vintage wood ribbon spool, Leaf trinket pin.
I build up my embellishment cluster, I added a Resin Bow in Porcelain Pink, Resin Fancy Frame in Snow White, Shimmering Pointed Flower in Mauve, Small Vintage Paper Flower in pink,Tulle mini bloom in bluebird, Wood Daily Grind token, Vintage pearl trinket pin
My next project is a mixed media Christmas card.
I started with a piece of cardboard which I covered with aluminum foil.
Then I coloured the whole thing with a red Chameleon pen.
Next, I coloured some white thread and medium vintage paper flower with the same red pen but I varied the intensity.
Then it was time to put the pieces together. I used the Geometric Leaf Die for some leaves, added the coloured medium vintage paper flower and thread along with Vintage pearl trinket pin, a Wood mini spool, a Felt Blossom -Cloud and a Resin Flower in Shocking Pink.
I finished by adding it to a card base and added a glitter diecut sentiment using the Noel Holiday Die Bundle.
There you have it...two fun projects using Maya Road products and Chameleon Pens!
