Friend Friday with Maya Road and Chameleon

cards chameleon pens charms die cutting product swap Resin stamps Steel Dies Thanksgiving wood

Hi Roadies! It's Melody here today. I am excited to be part of Friend Friday with Maya Road and Chameleon Changing color Pens collaboration. For the next few Fridays some of the Maya Road DT will be sharing some inspiration using the Chameleon Changing color pens with Maya Road products.
For my first project  I created a Fall themed card using the Chameleon Changing Color Pens to color die cuts. I spent a few minutes watching the videos on how to used the pens and control the color. The pens are easy to use and I love the way they work on different materials.
I die cut the Flower Die Set for Neehah Cardstock and then used the  Chameleon Changing Color Pens to color the flowers. For the red flower I used RD2, RD3, AND RD5, blending the darkest color to lightest from the center of the flower.
For the orange flower and yellow center I only had one color in the color family but with the mixing nib of the pen I was able change the depth of color. I used Y02 and OR3.
I added a sentiment from the Banner Sentiments Stamp Set and then I used the pens to color the Mini Wood Autumn Day Pieces. I also colored the Resin Flowers I used in the center of the flowers.
Next up is a Christmas card. I die cut the So Deer Die and highlighted the Kraft Cardstock with the BR1 pen. I hung a metal charm around the deer's neck. I LOVE how well the pens worked on the metal. Behind the deer I added a doily cut with the Vintage Doilies Die
I also used the pens to color two Small Vintage Paper Flowers and a resin flower from the Snow White Resin Flower Set. I used the Merry Christmas Die to cut the sentiment, once from red cardstock and once from a gold glittered cardstock then I used the pens to add a variation of color from top to bottom of the sentiment.
Thanks for stopping by! But sure stop by every Friday this month for more inspiration with Maya Road and Chameleon Changing color Pens.
